the amazing ken oliver...and 10th birthday plans!

Create a beautiful project with Ken Oliver on October 3...
Life's Beauty is Hidden in the Everyday...
Join Prima educator Ken Oliver at Scrapbook Generation Friday, October 3
to create this beautiful altered metal frame.

The finished project is over 13" tall, and will look great in your home!
You'll absolutely love the techniques used to alter this metal frame...
you'll be using Prima's new Color Blooms color sprays
to give the frame its unique patina finish.

The class kit includes plenty of flowers and metal trinkets to create.

Ken is an outstanding teacher and mixed media artist extraordinaire -- having traveled across the U.S. and internationally for companies including Spellbinders, Unibind, and Prima -- and his art studio has been featured in the magazine "Where Women Create" in a story called "The Men Who Make It."

We're thrilled he is returning to Springfield.
He was here for our 6th birthday party, and now he'll be the featured guest at our 10th!
We've kept up with him through Facebook,
and we've run into him at CHA's -- once you meet him, he's a friend for life.
You are going to love this class with Ken!

Our 10th birthday celebration...

 First, an announcement...
Back in June when we announced our 10th birthday hoopla, we had no way of knowing that the timing would be so difficult for us as a family. Debbie and Karin's mother (Stacey and Allison's grandmother) is currently in hospice, and it is looking like the timing of our birthday at SG couldn't be much worse in relation to her situation. The bottom line is that we don't have the physical or emotional stamina right now to do some of the things we planned to do to celebrate. So, we are scaling back on the celebration to make it manageable for us at this difficult time. We are a family business in the truest sense, and we hope you understand these changes.

10th birthday activities on Saturday, October 4...

• Free SG page kit with a $15 purchase.

• Special "Super-Saver Scrapbooking" sessions at a great price -- three awesome layouts for only $5! And everyone who attends one of the sessions gets a fantastic gift from American Crafts -- three sets of embellishments to use on your layouts -- a $12 retail value...FREE! More details -- and layout photos -- soon! (To register for sessions at 10 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm, or 3:30 pm, call 417-886-0440. Sorry, no kits.).

• Free mini-classes all day long, taught by Ken Oliver from Prima.
